Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 5, 2026

This policy explains what cookies are, which ones the Urban Group portal uses and how you can control them.

1.What cookies are

They are small files that a website stores on your device to remember information between visits. We also use equivalent browser technologies, such as local storage (localStorage).

2.Necessary cookies

They allow the site to work: keeping your session in the private areas, remembering your language and storing your decision about this notice. Without them the portal cannot operate properly, so they do not require consent.

3.Preferences

They store your choices to improve the experience: display currency (USD/DOP), properties marked as favourites and catalogue view settings. They are stored in your own browser and you can delete them at any time.

4.Measurement and performance

We use aggregate usage analytics and site speed metrics to detect errors and improve navigation. These measurements are not used to identify you personally.

5.Third-party cookies

Some integrated services may set their own cookies: the customer support chat, the maps and the video or virtual tour players. Those cookies are governed by the policies of their respective providers.

6.Global Privacy Control signal

If your browser or an extension sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request: measurement and third-party cookies stay off and cannot be re-enabled while the signal is present. This is the mechanism required by California privacy law.

7.What we store exactly

Necessary: the platform's language cookie, Supabase session cookies in the private areas and the `ug_consent` key holding your choice about this notice.

Preferences (in your browser's local storage): `ug_favorites` with the properties you save, plus your currency and catalogue view settings.

Third parties, only if you enable them: technical cookies from the support chat (LeadConnector domain) and cookies from any maps or video players you view.

8.How to change your choice

The notice appears on your first visit and nothing optional loads until you decide: if you reject, measurement and third-party services are not activated.

You can review or withdraw your choice at any time through the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer, in the same number of clicks it took to accept. Third-party content also shows a button to enable it only when you want to see it.

Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies and local storage (usually under Settings → Privacy and security). Please note that blocking necessary cookies may prevent access to the private areas or the use of some features.

9.Changes and contact

We will update this policy when the integrated services change. If you have any questions, write to us at info@urbangroup.do.
